Who we are

We (SABESS COE) are a regional knowledge and innovation hub hosted at Mzuzu University, Malawi. With support from the Global Energy Alliance, the Centre was established in 2025 to advance energy access and resilience through training, research, and support for battery storage systems across Southern Africa.
